Understanding the history behind the Ten Commandments

In this sermon Pastor Dan Hamel teaches about the history of the Ten Commandments, and how that should affect the way we look at them today. He explains that they were God's instructions to the people of Israel, and meant as the rules for the covenant relationship they had entered into with God. With that in mind, we need to remember that the Ten Commandments, while good guidelines, have been replaced. This is because in Jesus there is a new covenant, we now have the Holy Spirit in us, and he guides us and transforms us. Video recorded at Indianapolis, Indiana.
