What is the purpose of baptism? This sermon talks about John the Baptist. It explores why he was sent, as the unlikely messenger, to teach us. He didn't dress like the others of his time, he didn't eat like them. Yet, he taught people the importance of repentance, and he baptized them to cleanse them of their sin.
