In this sermon Pastor Hamel introduces us to the new sermon series Elijah. He starts out in First Kings Chapter 17. He explains to us that Elijah comes from a small unknown village, and has no known family lineage, yet he is called by God to do a very brave and bold thing. He is to go deliver a message from God to an evil person, King Ahab, that there will be a terrible drought. Then Pastor Hamel explains that ever since King Solomon there has been a steady increase in the level of evil in the kings of Israel, and now King Ahab is the evilest of them all. So it was a huge act of obedience and bravery for Elijah to go to him and deliver God's message. Video recorded at Indianapolis, Indiana.
