The Book of Nehemiah is full of scriptures on prayer and faith.

In this sermon Pastor Dan Hamel introduces a new series about Nehemiah, which comes from The Book of Nehemiah, a book full of scriptures on prayer and faith. In this first lesson he teaches us four words that we can learn from Nehemiah’s actions. The first was curiosity, Nehemiah cared enough to ask the important questions. Second was brokenness, he allowed himself to feel pain and sorrow for others. Next, he was committed to prayer, he prayed fervently to God and he took responsibility for the wrongs he and his people had done.
