Elijah tried to flee and give up in the face of adversity.

In this sermon we get to learn about what happened to Elijah after the powerful display from God on Mount Carmel. Elijah thought that everyone would be so awestruck by God's power, that they would all look to him as a hero. Instead Jezabel was angered, and ordered that he be found and put to death.
